In July 2023, our journey to map the Little Free Libraries available in Orléans turned into an incredible community adventure.

With the enthusiastic assistance of our local members, we identified 27 unique Little Free Libraries throughout our neighborhood. We embarked on a mission to visit each one of them, capturing their charm and uniqueness through pictures. The culmination of this journey was a comprehensive map, which we shared on our Facebook page.

This map had over 3000 views in just six months. The widespread interest in the map not only highlights its utility as a guide for educational family outings but also underscores the significant role each library plays in enhancing literacy and fostering a love for books and reading in our community. 

Every visit to these little libraries is a step toward building a more literate, connected, and book-loving neighborhood.
